Mapping Advocacy: Who’s Already Doing Something?

At Act Up: TNA’s Victorian Performing Arts Forum in 2026, delegates were asked, ‘Who is doing advocacy in the sector right now?’ TNA is thrilled to share resources showing what came out of the session.

Special thanks goes to Penny Miles, who facilitated the session, and Kim Lam, who did the graphic recording. Kim has beautifully mapped a constellation of organisations and people doing advocacy work in the Victorian sector, broken down by area, and by type. We have a list of 150 people represented, taken from a whopping list of 267 people in our raw data list!

You’ll notice that there is a broad range of areas mapped, with varying levels of proximity to the sector. The areas range from those already working in the sector, to government, education, community, partners, and more.
