10 Feb – Australia-Japan Foundation 50th Anniversary Grants
Between $30,000 and $200,000 for events that celebrate the Australia-Japan relationship. The event should foster collaboration and mutual understanding.
12 Feb – New Annual Festival MADE NEW EOIs (NSW)
Up to $40,000 for Newcastle artists to develop and present site-specific work. It should respond to a local site or tell a local story.
13 Feb – PAC Australia Biennial Benchmarking Survey
Collects key data from performing arts centres on venue operations, employment conditions, and economic activity. Information from the survey is released in two reports: Venue Charges and Salaries Report (a member only resource), and the Economic Activity Report, available to the wider sector.
16 Feb – Department of Communities’ LGBTIQA+ Inclusion Grants Program (WA)
Up to $10,000 or $25,000 for projects that work with and for LGBTIQA+ people and communities.
16 Feb – Sydney Fringe: Made in Sydney and Fringe on the Rocks EOIs (NSW)
Made in Sydney is looking for NSW works that have already had a season and are looking to re-stage. Artists receive free venue hire, $4,000, and 70% box office. Fringe on the Rocks is looking for NSW artists to pitch site-specific takeovers at The Rocks. Artists receive free venue hire, 60%–70% of net box office revenue, and more.
19 Feb – FRRR In a Good Place Grants
Funding for small remote, rural and regional communities, particularly in farming communities. Projects should focus on strengthening mental health and social/emotional health and wellbeing.
20 Feb – Pitch New Works at ISPA’s 2026 Singapore Congress
Present new projects to a global audience of performing arts professionals. The 2026 Singapore Congress is happening on 21 May. There is a non-refundable $50 USD registration fee.
22 Feb – Antipodes Theatre Winter Lab EOIs
Two-week intensive for artists to develop their live performance work. Artists receive $7,000 per project, space, travel and accommodation where needed, and more.
22 Feb – Celebrate Together Grants (SA)
For multicultural organisations to host festivals and events to share their cultures. Up to $5,000 for small-scale events, up to $30,000 for large-scale events.
23 Feb – Creative Workplaces Survey
Creative Workplaces wants to gain a deeper understanding of the experiences of individuals working in the Australian creative industries. The survey covers pay and working conditions, safety at work, bullying and harassment, and more. It will take 40 minutes to complete.
28 Feb – Brisbane Airport Community Giving Fund (QLD)
Up to $10,000 for local projects that work to make Brisbane a better place. Projects should align with one of the categories: enquiring minds, diversity and inclusion, health and wellbeing, protecting our planet, or community sport.
3 March – Capacity Building for First Nations Organisations
Up to $60,000 for First Nations led small to medium arts orgs. Submit a proposal for one-off capacity building investment for the 2026 calendar year.
3 March – Arts Projects for Individuals and Groups
Between $10,000 to $50,000 for arts activities by individuals and groups. Activities can be professional skills development, the creation of a new work, and more.
5 March – Arts NT Arts Projects Round 2 (NT)
Up to $30,000 to develop skills and present work. Up to $15,000 for emerging artists.
5 March–26 March – Theatre Green Book Australia (TGBA) Online Series
Arts on Tour are holding a free online series on greening production-making processes. TGBA is an international framework that sets out common standards, tools, and guidance for making theatre productions more sustainable.
9 March – Dancenorth Artist Residency in the Tropics
Up to three-week residency for independent dance practitioners. Develop work in Tropical North Queensland. Artists receive $5,000 for flights, accommodation, and project expenses.
10 March – Next Level Creative Mentorship Program (NSW, SA, NT and ACT)
For artists with disability or who are d/Deaf from NSW, SA, NT and ACT. Artists receive $3,000 and mentorship with a leading performing arts organisation to develop a new project.
31 March – American Australian Association Arts Fund Grants
Up to $5,000 USD for emerging artists to pursue artistic development in the U.S. Funding can be used for travel, living, tuition, and related costs.

Arts on Tour have announced their Sector Development programs for 2026. NSW and ACT artists and producers can pitch work at the industry networking event. EOIs open this month.

Save VicHealth
VicHealth is under threat of closure. The independent agency for health promotion and disease prevention has been a big supporter of arts and culture, mental health and wellbeing; especially for young people, CaLD and vulnerable communities in Victoria. Under new plans, VicHealth will be absorbed into the Department of Health. Find out more and join the petition.

9 Feb – Malthouse Theatre and Melbourne Theatre Company: 2025 Graduates General Auditions
The companies are holding joint General Auditions for 2025 graduates of Australian full-time bachelor’s degree courses majoring in performance. 2025 graduates can meet and share their work with the Artistic Teams of both theatre companies.

Between $10,000 and $400,000 for multicultural community orgs. For orgs to strengthen their capacity and continue to create positive change for communities. There are three different funding streams depending on the size of the org.
20 Feb – The Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellowships
$1,250 stipend and hot desking for emerging writers. There is an allocated spot for an emerging female or non-binary playwright.
20 Feb–27 March – Bloomshed Open Practice Workshops
Bloomshed are hosting a free workshop series for artists. Each session will explore Bloomshed’s approach to adapting texts for theatre and their process.

For emerging artists and performers aged 18–28. Join a four-month program of training workshops for the stage. Sessions focus on improvisation, writing, performing and creating original work. Ensemble members receive priority consideration for recruitment across PYT Fairfield’s projects.

$8,000 grants for young artists and arts workers under 25 years old. Undertake creative and professional development activities.
16 March – International Bursa Children and Youth Theatre Festival Callout
For theatre companies working for children and young people to present at the festival in Türkiye in May. Accommodation, meals, and ground transport are provided.

Play On! Sports Vouchers (QLD)
