From 2023 – 2024, TNA will be partnering with the Australia Council to deliver a program of capacity building initiatives for the Circus and Physical Theatre sector. These programs have been developed in direct response to TNA’s consultation with the sector, offering support where it is needed most.

To support this work, we are recruiting for three new roles in the TNA team.

Senior Producer – CaPT (0.8 FTE)

This role works alongside the TNA Program Manager to deliver services to the Circus and Physical Theatre (CaPT) sector, including those outlined in TNA’s CaPT Strategy, and new initiatives supported by the Australia Council for the Arts commencing in 2023.

Program Producer – CIPI (CaPT Independent Producers Initiative) (0.4 FTE)

This position is very outward facing, working with deep respect with our members and potential members, partners, and the wider sector to deliver the CaPT Independent Producers Initiative. This role also works collaboratively with Manager, VIPI and Communications, to help deliver the VIPI salon series.

Program Producer – First Nations Circle (0.2 FTE)

This position is designed to support and employ an Australian First Nations emerging producer. This person will receive workplace support and professional development provided by TNA and be mentored in cultural leadership and FN sector networking. In collaboration with TNA staff, the role will help design, establish and oversee the First Nations Circle, support the engagement of circle members, and assist with creating and sharing any outcomes such as the action plan and best practice guide.
