TNA will once again invite indies to apply for a subsidised place at APAF ($121). We will also help you seek support from your state for travel/accom. Here are the opportunities we already know about. Tasmanians can apply to TNA by Friday 10 March to get a subsidised spot so you can then apply to Arts Tas’ ArtsBridge by 27 March. EOIs for indies in other states/territory will open in the coming weeks

TAS: Artsbridge supports TAS artists travelling for arts and cultural opportunities. Closes 27 March, 2023. Up to $3,000.

NT: Supports professional development. Closes 31 May, 2023. $2,000.

WA: Under $15k. You can apply anytime, more than 35 days before the activity starts.

NSW: NSW has quick response grant up to $5,000. 3–4 week notification.

ACT: Up to $5,000 open year-round.

REGIONAL VIC: $3,000 monthly rounds. Closes 31 March, 31 April, etc.

REGIONAL QLD: $3,000 monthly rounds. Closes 31 March, 30 April, etc.

Along with the Brisbane Festival and Brisbane Powerhouse, APAF is supported by the Queensland Government through Arts Queensland. Theatre Network Australia is assisted by the Australian Government through the Australia Council, its arts funding and advisory body, and by the Victorian Government through Creative Victoria. TNA will be working with state and territory funders to seek support for independents.
