5 Feb – ActNow Theatre’s Queer Youth Theatre Workshops – Free
A free creative program for LGBTQI+ people aged 18-30 to work with professional artists, develop performance skills, meet like-minded people and build pathways into the arts industry, led by local queer theatre director Teddy Dunn. TNA has joined with other performing arts peak orgs in support of a National Indigenous Arts and Cultural Authority (NIACA) to protect and promote the rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s arts and cultures. 31 Mar – Sydney Festival launches Australia’s first Disability Programming Initiative
Designed to increase the number of artists with disability creating work for festivals, this initiative, in partnership with Accessible Arts, introduces an accessible and inclusive pitching process. Artists can submit via print, audio, video or in person by 31 March 2019. More info here. 

31 Mar – Stories from the Future – National Workshops – Diversity Arts Australia
Join this workshop series to imagine a future where cultural diversity is present at every level in the arts. Pitch your most critical and ambitious artistic project for presentation at Next Wave Festival 2020: A Government of Artists. Subtlenuance Theatre have announced entries are open for the 2019 Silver Gull Play Award which recognises an outstanding play by a local writer that explores philosophical or political themes. The prize pool is $5000, with the winning playwright receiving $3000. Entries close 30 Apr 2019.
