TNA needs your help to provide essential access and equity for independent artists!

Across 2020 and 2021 TNA raised $366,000 as a part of CRISIS CASH, with every dollar going to independent artists affected by the pandemic as emergency payments. Indie artists are still doing it tough with the ongoing effects of the pandemic, and many are left further behind because of lack of access at a variety of levels.

TNA is piloting an Access & Equity Fund to deliver quick-response funding to alleviate the costs of achieving access and equity in artistic practice.

In line with the strategic objectives in TNA’s Equity Action Plan, this fund will be available to independent artists and arts workers facing all kinds of barriers to their practice. This could include costs associated with:

• Interpreters
• Accessible software/equipment
• Child-care
• Subtitling
• Physical/mental health support
• Audio description
• Regional travel
• Image description
• Other things we haven’t thought of yet

Artists and arts workers will be encouraged to apply for a grant of up to $500.

Your donation this end of financial year will make a significant difference to artists and arts workers who contribute so much to our lives but are still struggling to make ends meet.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible and can be made quickly and easily using our GiveNow platform or via direct deposit. 100% of donations will be passed on directly to applicants to the program, with TNA taking no cut. All donors will be acknowledged on the TNA website.
