How to Vote Well – VIC State Election Edition

The Victorian state election is coming up on November 26th, and TNA is holding an online event to explain how the two Houses of state government work, preferencing, voting above or below the line, and how to do some research before voting day.

We have invited back guest speaker Bill Browne, Director, Democracy & Accountability Program, the Australia Institute, who was a crowd favourite earlier in the year when he spoke about how Federal Government works as a part of Champions of Arts and Culture. Following his presentation, Bill will be available to answer any and all questions you have.

Wednesday October 12th
12:00pm to 1:00pm AEDT
Online via Zoom
Click here to register – you will receive a custom meeting link via email.

Don’t forget, TNA also has a quick and easy guide on how you can advocate for the arts in Victoria in the lead up to the election, as well as more general resources in our Advocacy Toolkit.
