Circa Cairns Creative Producer

Circa Cairns is a bold new initiative from Circa. It will feature a full-time ensemble of five circus artists with a strong First Nations profile who create work to tour regionally, nationally and internationally. With deep community ties and a suite of performance and engagement programs, it is a transformative opportunity based in Cairns. And it needs a leader with courage and creativity to make it happen.

Circa’s First Nations Action Plan 2021-2025 acknowledges the First Nations Peoples of Australia as the cultural custodians of country, knowledge and stories, and affirms Circa’s commitment to ensuring that our practices always reflect our genuine respect for the people and the land on which we work. Following a strong foundational year, we are embarking on new and developing existing initiatives that will grow connections between Circa and First Nations Australians.
