Dear ASSITEJ Network Colleagues,

As we begin to go back out into our suburbs, our towns and our cities we must also consider how to stay safe as we re-open our theatres and re-start our activities. There is upheaval and change everywhere we look. We hold hope, along with many colleagues, friends and family that we can learn and act in a difficult time to ensure a fairer future for all people across Australia.

GET INVOLVED IN A SECTOR WIDE CELEBRATION

Send Us A Photo for ASSITEJ Sector Video
TNA is creating a 15-min video for the ASSITEJ World Congress in Japan, which has been postponed to Mar 2021. As Australians will still be unable to attend in person, we want to celebrate the breadth of work on offer in Australia via video! If you would like a photo of your work to be included, please submit 1 – 2 high res images of your recent work made with/ for/ by children or young people. Can’t decide? Try to choose the photo that encapsulates what you do in your practice, or a moment you’re most proud of! Deadline is 7 Dec 2020. Email to: amelia@tna.org

Amelia Ducker: Photographer, Videographer and TYA Artist!
The latest member of our ever-growing team at TNA is Amelia Ducker who has joined us to create and coordinate the ASSITEJ Video to celebrate the sector. Amelia is an independent artist and is no stranger to the TYA sector. She has worked with St Martins, Polyglot, ACMI and Back to Back Theatre as an educator and facilitator. Lucky for us, she is also an amazing photographer and videographer! Check out her art and photography/videography.

Creative Control Online
An initiative of Brotherhood of Saint Laurence together with partners Arts Access Victoria, Writers Victoria, Polyglot Theatre and featuring a special showcase of work from Back to Back Theatre, immerse yourself in the work of 46 different artists between 3-10 December.

Extended Engagement Performance Survey
